Construct 10 were awarded this project as a result of the outstanding workmanship evident on the Saddlers Warehouse Project. When we started this project the existing building was probably the ugliest building in Chichester. We removed both the front and rear external faces of the building and reconstructed them in a sympathetic red brick which absolutely transformed the building from a truly ugly duckling to magnificent beautiful Swan. This project then went on to win our second Sussex Heritage Award in a row, the 2017 award.
